Internships & Study Abroad Opportunities

Internships

Internships provide students with a real-world application to economic theories and allow them to observe the markets at work throughout the world.

Students have participated in internships at locally owned businesses and worldwide corporations.

By working with their advisor and the Office of Career Services, students find internships that best fit their career goals and interests that are both paid and unpaid for course credit.

For more information about internships, please visit UConn's Internship Website, or speak to your educational advisor.

Study Abroad

Both summer and internship positions are available all around the globe for Resource Economics students. Some of the past overseas interships and summer opportunities include:

  • Salamanca, Spain
  • Oaxaca, Mexico
  • London, England
  • Parma, Italy
  • Florence, Italy
  • Dakar, Senegal
