Both MS and Ph.D. degrees are offered in our program. Areas of specialization
include food marketing & industrial organization, agricultural
trade & development, and environmental economics. Graduate Assistantships
are available to qualified students on a competitive basis. Tuition
is waived for those on assistantship. Fellowships are awarded on the
basis of both academic merit and financial need.
Requirements
One of the qualifications for graduate admission is that the applicant
have a bachelor’s with a grade point average of B (3.0) in the
entire undergraduate record, or in the last two years, or excellent
in the final year.
Only applicants with a Masters degree or exceptional
undergraduate record are considered for the Ph.D. Applicants with
undergraduate training in any field are considered. However, applicants
are expected to have some courses in intermediate level of economic
theory, statistics, and calculus.

Please note that you are required to submit your GRE General
